Does “about 5 minutes” mean a full glass of ice?

No. First ice is specified at 5 minutes 12 seconds. More time is needed to build a glassful or fill the basket, and conditions affect production.

Can the basket hold 18kg at once?

No. The 18kg / 40lb figure is rated cumulative output per 24 hours. The specification lists about 1.2kg at natural basket fill and a maximum loaded weight of 1.703kg.

Does the 10-minute cycle replace descaling?

No. Routine rinsing, cleaning of removable parts and descaling remain necessary. Follow the manual; cleaning frequency depends on use and water hardness.

Does a 6L water bottle come in the box?

No bottle is listed in the standard packing list. The machine supports bottle supply up to 6L in addition to its 2L upper and 2L internal tanks.

How is NU60 different?
