Leave the clearance specified in the manual for ventilation, opening lids or doors and accessing the water tank or drain.

Starting water temperature, room temperature, ventilation and recent transport or storage conditions can affect the first cycle.

Storage behavior varies by model, and many countertop ice makers are not freezers. Transfer unused ice when recommended and follow the product manual.

Refresh the water, clean the basket and water-contact areas, and descale based on use and local water quality. A built-in cleaning cycle does not replace every manual step.
